Ryan Bollinger

Bollinger, Ryan

As LIT Consul and Regional Initiatives Director with The Longleaf Alliance, Ryan supports the America's Longleaf Restoration Initiative and works to increase communication and collaboration among the 18 designated Local Implementation Teams (LITs).  Ryan received his BS from Clemson University in Environmental and Natural Resource Management, and his Master of Environmental Studies from College of Charleston.  While living in Charleston, Ryan spent time traveling the low country, where he gained an appreciation for the longleaf pine ecosystem.  He currently lives in Whispering Pines, NC and serves as the Longleaf Implementation Team (LIT) Consul.  In this role, Ryan works closely with the Longleaf Partnership Council (LPC) Leadership acting as the primary ambassador for the LITs and serving as a hub for information sharing, connecting all levels of the America’s Longleaf Restoration Initiative.  Prior to joining the Alliance, Ryan served in the NC Sandhills Partnership as the Conservation Planner from 2011-2014, where he helped coordinate the Partnership by facilitating meetings, participating in working groups, developing Conservation and Monitoring Plans, and communicating with the public about Partnership accomplishments.
