Patrick Jantz Ph.D.

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Woods Hole Research Center. I am working on a Climate Vulnerability Assessment for the Appalachian Landscape Conservation Cooperative. We are using 1km downscaled CMIP5 GCMs (NEXDCP30 dataset) from NASA collaborators as inputs into bioclimatic envelope models for vegetation types and key species within those vegetation types. We will use summaries of the climate models and results from bioclimatic envelope models to assess climate change vulnerability of vegetation in four NPS units in the ALCC.
