LCC Network Announces National Council Members

The LCC National Council will work to provide national-level coordination to identify ecological and institutional challenges and successes across the network of 22 LCCs.

The U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution and the LCC National Council strategy team have named the inaugural members of the LCC National Council. The LCC National Council, a new coalition of federal, state, international, tribal and non-governmental representatives, was created to provide national-level coordination and support for Landscape Conservation Cooperatives (LCC).

The Council will serve the LCC network by learning from them and helping to identify the ecological and institutional challenges faced by the LCCs that should be addressed at the national scale. The first meeting of the LCC National Council is scheduled for February 4th and 5th, 2014 at the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.
