Jean Brennan (Coordinator & Chief Scientist) and Gillian Bee (Landscape Conservation Fellow) will be meeting with TN and KY partners to introduce and train participants on the AppLCC's NatureScape. NatureScape is a suite of tools and resources that were developed from a collaborative conservation planning effort across the cooperatives members to identify and prioritize lands and waters important for functioning ecosystems and biodiversity impending environmental challenges.
Upon completion of the training, users will be able to utilize NatureScape’s suite of resources (Online Visualization Tool, Geospatial data sets) to answer questions regarding applied conservation and priority resources with the organization’s area of responsibility. Users will also develop a good understanding of the science behind the tools and their appropriate use. The final objective is to facilitate creative thinking to enhance the utilization of the tools to answer questions for the strategic delivery of conservation activities.
