The emergence of ecosystem service markets as a tool for planning and conservation efforts is a growing trend. The Forest Service is supporting various programs and partnerships across public and private lands to conserve water resources, create markets, and test new protocols. Emily Weidner from the Washington D.C. office will discuss the Forest Service’s Ecosystem Services Program. Then Claire Harper will discuss the Denver Water Partnership in Colorado, and Bob Deal will discuss the Willamette Partnership in the Pacific Northwest. Photo credit Larry Korhnak.

This, as well as all webinars in the series, is open to all who wish to attend.

Scheduled speakers to include:

Emily Weidner: USFS, Cooperative Forestry - Washington D.C.

Claire Harper: USFS Cooperative Forestry – Rocky Mountain Region

Bob Deal: Pacific Northwest Research Station
