Southeast Conservation Blueprint 2022 on track for final release this fall

by Hilary Morris, User Support & Communications, South Atlantic & Southeast Blueprints

We’re still on track to release Southeast Conservation Blueprint 2022 this fall. We’re planning to make it available by late October in time for the annual conference of the Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (SEAFWA). We’re just finalizing the data and documentation and making everything publicly available online. From this year's release, you can expect: consistent methods and underlying data for 15 states of the SECAS geography, updated data and new features in the Blueprint Explorer viewer, and a new ArcGIS Hub mapping portal. To read more about the improvements included in the 2022 Blueprint release, >>visit Hilary's blog post on the SECAS website...

Fall 2022 Third Thursday Web Forum flyer

by Hilary Morris, User Support & Communications, South Atlantic & Southeast Blueprints

The fall 2022 Third Thursday Web Forum flyer is now available! The September webinar featured a project to assess dynamic patterns of floodplain inundation across the United States using Landsat imagery. The October presentation will focus on a case study demonstrating how carbon and stormwater credits, as well as equity benefits, can help drive private investment in parks and greenways. In November, Rua will summarize the improvements in the latest version of the Southeast Conservation Blueprint, which uses consistent methods and indicators Southeast-wide. To see the flyer, >>check out Hilary's blog on the SECAS website...
