Prior to working for Bird Conservancy, Gillian spent three years working alongside conservation partners in western South Dakota to engage private landowners in the implementation of science-based management practices to enhance habitat for sagebrush obligates. Gillian holds a B.S. in Wildlife Biology from The University of Vermont, and a M.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology from Clemson University.
